Garlic Bread Meatball Subs

Garlic Bread Meatball Subs are a cheesy, saucy comfort meal made with toasted garlic butter rolls, slow-cooked meatballs, and melted mozzarella. They’re simple to prepare and taste like a restaurant-style sub with minimal effort.

Ingredients
Torpedo rolls or sub rolls
Cooking spray (canola or similar)
Softened butter
Minced garlic
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Your favorite pasta sauce
Frozen meatballs

Instructions
Place frozen meatballs in a crockpot and cook them in pasta sauce on high for about 2 hours, or until heated through and tender.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic to create a garlic spread.
Slice the torpedo rolls and spread the garlic butter mixture inside each roll. Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray the tops of the rolls and bake for about 5 minutes until slightly toasted.
Remove the rolls from the oven and fill each one with meatballs and sauce. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and a little extra sauce if desired.
Return the subs to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve warm and enjoy.

These subs are cheesy, garlicky, and packed with rich meatball flavor—perfect for an easy dinner or game-day meal.
